The couple picked out a heart wedding for their choice of décor, and what they did with it was spectacular. Everything that had anything to do with the wedding had a heart design, the invites and gifts and everything. The pretty cheap hearts favors they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. It was a handsome way to design an invitation. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The look of the altar was glorious, with brilliant flower arrangements and candle settings. Hearts were on the sides of the church pew where the wedding tulle was attached. I guess when you get married on Valentine’s Day, hearts are really a big deal. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The table settings glittered with glasses for wine and champagne. She really did do a bang up job on table décor The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. The champagne glasses on bride and groom table were really something special. It was very much like the silver hearts wedding invitation they sent out; it was a silver double hearts wedding champagne glass for each of them.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. It looked as good as it tasted. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She picked it out on the web; in fact, it was the same site she purchased her other supplies and things for the wedding from. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. I’m sure they’ll treasure that forever.
We had to use gorgeous wedding heart, in fact they gave us two thank you gifts. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. It struck me as a neat pair of gifts to give everyone. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. When they get back home, I’m anxious to look through their pictures with them, and hear about all the fantastic things we saw and did in Mexico. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.

Monday, April 20th, 2009I decided to go online to find a wedding guest book and pen for my wedding reception, and it turned out to be a great decision! There were tons of wedding themes you could choose from, as well as styles and colors of decorations and accessories. There were a lot of choices I was rather captured by, as far as themes for weddings and receptions. I thought since we were getting married in January it would be the perfect time for a beautiful winter wonderland wedding and reception party. Too bad we were’nt getting married in December, I think a Christmas wedding would really have been spectacular, with a big Christmas tree and lots of decorations. But the winter wonderland weddings are really spectacular too with all the lovely winter accessories available. So, a winter wedding it was to be. Now I had to get started with all my wedding plans.
I found the best invitations for a winter wonderland wedding. Next, I picked out the accessories for our ceremony, including the ring pillow and flower basket. I was sure I picked out all the accessories I had to have for our winter wedding, but that wasn’t the case. I forgot all about the wedding guest book and wedding pen! So, I searched through the wedding supplies and found the beautiful winter wedding guestbooks and wedding pen sets, and picked my favorite. The guest book was designed with snowflakes and a little blue thrown in with sparkling little crystals. They also had the wedding pens that went perfectly with this gorgeous winter guestbook. Now that I had our winter wedding guestbook and pen, it was time to find the perfect wedding photo album. There were a lot of wedding albums to choose from, but what really surprised me was all the anniversary albums they had available. I could use this selection in a few years too.
Now I was ready to move on to the supplies and decorations I needed for our wedding reception. They had it all as far as winter wonderland wedding supplies, and the first thing I bought for the reception were the champagne flutes, designed to match our wedding guest book and pen. They were absolutely exquitsite. Our reception tables were absolutely exquisite with all the crystal, candles and centerpieces I picked out. We were also able to get quite a few accessories and supplies at a discount and save money on our wedding expenses, which really helped us out. I was surprised at what little we paid for such exquisite accessories.
They also had the most adorable wedding cake toppers to choose from. Our cake topper showed a bride and groom in a whimsical winter activity. Our cake was five tiers high and covered in sugar snowflakes with blue and red designs of winter. This beautiful winter wedding cake was displayed on a silver sled cake stand. Our guests were really impressed with the silver sled cake stand idea that my fiance thought of.
On our the reception tables for our friends and family I had chosen these adorable little snowmen place card holders. I also chose wedding favors that were little snowflake gel candles for our guests. One of my favorite decorative accessories was the snowflake favor boxes we packaged their gifts in. They really made the tables look so festive. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the wedding favor pens were a hit! Thanks to shopping online, I had everything I needed to pull off a successful wedding ceremony and reception. It gave me a lot of help for planning the décor.
Ring bearer pillows ?
Thursday, April 9th, 2009Online shopping for our reception accessories, flower baskets, and ring bearer pillows was my mom’s idea. She said it beats running from store to store and all there is to do is check them out, order the ones I like and wait for delivery. I found everything from invitations to wedding favors, and some items at wholesale prices. Besides the invitations, I got a lot of accessories for the ceremony, at a much lower cost than I expected. I saved on items like wedding tiaras for my bridesmaids, flower girl, and also bought my bridal tiara, flower girl basket, flower petals and checked out some great ring bearer pillow wedding suggestions. I couldn’t believe all the adorable ideas for satin ring pillows.
There was all the decorations I needed for my tables. Along with the glassware I added beautiful candles to make each table setting as elegant as possible. There was such an assortment of themed wedding and destination wedding ideas, and a great selection of wedding favors too. Some for a beach wedding, winter wedding, garden wedding and more, with beautiful and decorative favor boxes to choose from too. I really liked the novelty favors they have for a Las Vegas themed party, like the little photo albums and keychains.
The crystal paperweights I bought made the perfect little thank you gifts for our guests. They were really lovely, so lovely I hated to package them, but the favor boxes were very decorative and added that extra special something to our tables. Out of everything I bought, I loved my cake topper the most. Our cake topper was so beautiful it almost out shined our wedding cake. The butterfly with the beautiful satin bow really made an exquisite wedding cake topper.
I got so many compliments on my décor and wedding favor gifts. I got so many thank you’s from our guests for their gifts. What I really liked about this place I shopped was the fact they have more than just cake toppers and a wedding ring bearer pillow. There are ideas and selections for all parties, including showers, birthday and girls night out parties. My sister just told me the other day that she got all the favors and supplies she needed for my bridal shower at the same place I bought my wedding supplies. Our mom gave her the idea of going online to find everything she needed for my bridal shower she was throwing for me, just like she did for me with my wedding supplies.
My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I’ve already been checking out some of the party favors, but I’m waiting until next week to order them. That’s when we get to find out if I’ll have a little niece or a little nephew. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.
I want to thank my mom for pointing me towards this easy way to shop, it saved me a lot of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. Thanks for all of your wonderful suggestions and all of your help, mom. This is one way of shopping that will come in handy for our anniversary someday. They had some very nice ideas for anniversaries, like decorations, cake toppers and even favor gifts for guests. I found suggestions that would be perfect for our mom and dayd’s 30th wedding anniversary party. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.
