Using ceramic favors

When you are planning a wedding and reception I think the hardest part is trying to find the perfect wedding favor for your guests. You can go with lovely crystal favors, ceramic wedding favors, and even a more practical gift like household items. Whichever you plan on using for thank you gifts, you’ll see that there is a variety of styles for each category.
I’m planning a themed wedding in a country western motif, and I’ve found quite a few exceptional ceramic favors to work with. Favors made of ceramic are perfect for any wedding you want to have. Like the little tea caddys that I ran across online with nice black ceramic wedding trays to place them on. There are plenty of suggestions from candle holders to gorgeous tea lights and even flower vases as ceramic wedding gifts. Since I consider shopping for the wedding favors as the most difficult part of the planning, plus trying to decide from such a wide variety, I decided that it was the last thing I put on my list of things to do.
So, decorating my reception tables was the first task on hand. My centerpieces fit right in with a country western motif, as I used metal buckets filled with daisies, and used tablecloths with red and white checks over all the picnic tables. I bought adorable little barbecue grills as place card holders, which I let all the guests keep after the reception. No catering service for us, we were having a cookout for our reception and the little barbecue grill place card holders were perfect for the tables. We had cowboy shaped glasses to drink from and little tiny cowboy hats at each guests place setting to add to the western motif. I chose the really lovely honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. They were so adorable and they fit right in with the country motif of our reception. There were also beautiful candle holders that would have made a terrific ceramic wedding gift for our guests, and I almost decided on that. Not only did our reception tables look like an authentic down home celebration, but all the rest of the accessories we had for our reception was perfect too.
We brought in haystacks and scattered them around the area, and hung up white lights that twinkled, all through the trees. Our wedding cake topper was not to be believed, it was figurines of a cowgirl roping her man and hauling him to the altar. We all had a good laugh from our whimsical cake topper. In fact there were lots of laughs through the whole reception, with all the dancing and partying that was going on, we were all having a fantastic time. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
All of the people that were in our wedding ceremony got little gifts from us, like our bridesmaids and groomsmen. For the men in the wedding party, my fiance had chosen these cool cowboy steins and thank you gifts, and I use delicate little ceramic favors for the ladies. But for the little flower girl and the ring boy we bought tee shirts that had flower girl and ringboy printed on them. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I also bought a few extras for myself, like a sharp little western themed guestbook and pen, picture album and I even ordered a cowboy hat for me and my husband that said bride and groom on them. I thought this would turn out great, but it was way more better than I had imagined, what a super party we had.
